Girls & Guitar returns to Laila's for the 6th session!

Once again, we are raising funds for Women's Aid Organisation (WAO). The Women's Aid Organisation (WAO) is an independent, non-religious, non-governmental organisation based in Malaysia, committed to confronting violence against women.

WAO was established in 1982 when it opened Malaysia's first Women's Refuge, providing shelter, counseling and child support to battered women.

Originality at it's optimum on the 10 th of November(Wednesday).
Laila's Cafe and Lounge is proud to stage the 3rd in our series of Troubadour nights where soloist,duo's and bands perform for about 30 minutes each. All original material and some very original remakes of classics.

This time around, Anuar,Rebecca and Lost Souls will be gracing the stage.

Anuar is an acoustic singer songwriter based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His bra...nd of music is lap tapping acoustic with a finger style flair. Influenced from the likes of Ben Harper, Erik Mongrain and Andy Mckee.

Rebecca is one of the most foremost piano players and singers in the country. A sight to behold with her effortless playing and singing style.

And last but not least, a band that some of you may remember. Lost Souls was the first local band to have a number one song on the international charts here in Malaysia, knocking off Michael Jackson's "Heal the World". Lost Souls went on to be the opening act for Bon Jovi and was also the first local English band to sell 50,000 copies of their debut album.

It promises to be a ROCKING night so get in there early or make your reservations at 017-5119795.
