He may not be the most famous or the youngest but Papi Zak is most definitely the ‘biggest’ stand-up comedian in Malaysia. Physically local but culturally American, Papi Zak’s maiden stand-up endeavour was back in 2006 for The Actors’ Studio’s open mic show – Free Flow.
Since then Papi Zak has never looked back and has gone on to perform stand-up as an opening for such high profile local favourites as Harith Iskandar, Jit Murad, Douglas Lim and Hitz.FM’s JJ and Rudy. Today, he is known for his natural charisma on stage and his brand of cheeky comedy that tickles the hearts of all chicks and Mak Ciks alike.
Having performed all around the city from restaurants and clubs, to launches, events and parties; Papi Zak’s star is certainly on the rise.
