Unplugged escape is a series of unplugged showcases, with the aim of giving bands
and performers, from different background and genres,
a space to expose their talent in their own fashion, style and creativity.
Happening at Laila’s cafe lounge every Sunday evening. at this showcase,
every group or performer is encouraged to put up an unplugged session,
focusing more on an acoustic sound rather than a full live electric set.
if u sound fab playing an electric set, than you should sound better unplugged!
its all about the harmony in each individual which elevates them when they are
performing live, that sets them apart from the norm...
Requirements:
there will be a basic drum set and an upright piano provided throughout the showcase.
each performer will be given a 25 minutes slot to show what their made off.
performers are advised to bring their own cables and music gears.
bands that participate in the unplugged escape series will get an opportunity to take part
for our GUITAR STORE PRESENTS ROCK FEST & THE LAILA'S PROJECT W MOE NASRUL
this will enhance their chances of a wider audience, bigger exposure and
a completely different environment.
